Bring Border Buddy to Life
There are a few approaches to character illustration for print, including hand drawn, vectorized, or 3D modeled. For the sake of versatility, we created a rigged 3D model of the character, allowing us to place him in various poses and situations. The final 3D model of Border Buddy is able to be posed and rendered in different styles, such as a cartoony, linework style ideal for the colouring book.
